Before the system upgrade and technical transformation, due to the low hardware configuration of the host, the system allowed for slow speed, and the operating station frequently experienced crashes. The upgrade and technological transformation have completely eliminated the hidden danger of frequent system crashes, but due to design reasons, the system has encountered new problems during operation, which are mainly reflected in the communication aspect of the system. The typical faults that have occurred successively include communication faults caused by the mixed installation of WP51D and AW/WP51F hosts on the system bus, communication faults between MG30B and 3500 systems, interruption of data exchange between control station CP6002 and operation station, and hardware faults of optical switch SW 001A/B. After the implementation of the DCS system upgrade and technical transformation plan provided by FOXBORO company for the mixed installation communication failure of the operation station, it was found that the communication network was abnormal immediately after the system was put into operation. The main fault phenomena are as follows:
A The screen refresh time of the 51D operation station exceeds 10 seconds, and the system runs extremely slowly. Some data cannot be updated in a timely manner, and the system cannot respond in a timely manner when inputting control commands;
B. The data transmission between the engineer stations (operation stations) of the same model of host is normal, and the data transmission between the engineer stations (operation stations) of 51F and 51D hosts cannot be normal;
C. Control station CP malfunctions and alarms. The fault cause analysis enters the system management main screen, and you can find that the Letter bug number of the control station CP600X (X is 1/2/3, indicating that the alarm information appears separately or simultaneously, the same below) is displayed in red. Open the Histo1 history library, and the following system alarm information can be found (see Table 2). From the main screen of system management, enter the network structure of the NETWORK display system and check that WP510X (X is 3/5/7, and the operating station host is an upgraded 51D model) NB cab le frequently alarms, switching between Cable A and Cable B every 10 seconds.
