    • The module receives input signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups and converts them into digital Keyphasor signals. These signals indicate the alignment of the Keyphasor mark on the rotating shaft with the Keyphasor transducer.

    • The 3500 Machinery Protection System supports up to four Keyphasor signals in a standard configuration and up to eight Keyphasor signals in a paired configuration.
  3. Timing Precision:
    • Keyphasor signals are once-per-turn or multiple-event-per-turn pulses, providing precise timing measurements essential for monitoring shaft rotative speed and vector parameters such as 1X vibration amplitude and phase.

Enhancements Over Previous Design:

  1. Expanded Signal Processing:
    • The Enhanced Keyphasor Module improves upon the previous design by offering expanded signal processing capabilities, ensuring more accurate and detailed monitoring of rotating machinery.
  2. Downward Compatibility:
