Fast Commissioning
A user-friendly software named “SynView” enables simple and rapid commissioning of the SYNCHROTACT 5 system.
The SynView program provides a recommended value for each parameter, along with the minimum, maximum, and default values for each.
The system incorporates an intelligent program that, after interacting with the generator, can recommend values for specific parameters dependent on the power system’s circuit breaker, voltage regulator, and speed governor.
Commissioning of the SYNCHROTACT 5 can also be conveniently carried out without a PC, using the controls on the front panel of the enclosure.
Maximum Safety in Automatic and Manual Operation
For this type of equipment, the safety of the generator and power network during synchronization is the top priority.
Safe Automatic Synchronization: Guaranteed by a compact dual-channel system, which consists of two devices with independent hardware and software connected in series (see Figure 4). The first channel executes automatic synchronization, while the second provides independent monitoring (Synchrocheck) of the first channel. The hardware and software of each channel are designed by different development engineers and use different microprocessors—preventing any potential systematic failures from affecting operation.
Safe Manual Synchronization: Ensured by a monitoring device (Synchrocheck) connected in series with the manual paralleling switch .
