Rated continuous signal loop current is 400 mA per channel. Maximum surge discharge current is 5 kA under 8/20 µs test waveform. Series resistance per signal line equals 2.2 Ω, maximum leakage current stays below 0.3 µA to reduce measurement drift. Terminal blocks accommodate wire gauges ranging from 12 AWG to 22 AWG for field instrument cabling. Surge response time is less than 1 ns for fast transient clamping.
Output Specifications
Control-side output delivers surge-suppressed raw instrument signals towards DCS or PLC I/O modules. Operating ambient temperature ranges from -40 °C to +80 °C; storage temperature spans -40 °C to +85 °C. Relative humidity rating is 5%-95% non-condensing. Enclosure protection grade IP20 for cabinet-internal installation. No built-in fuse or loop-disconnect mechanism; external loop protection shall be arranged according to project requirements. This SPD cannot realize measurement function independently and must be installed in series between field sensors and backend control-system I/O cards.
