Main Functions
The device executes phase-segregated line differential main protection to quickly identify internal line faults and block tripping for external through faults. It integrates backup protection functions including phase overcurrent, earth fault protection, voltage supervision and negative sequence overcurrent protection. Built-in three-phase voltage and current measurement modules calculate active power, reactive power, power factor and frequency for continuous grid condition monitoring. It supports disturbance fault recording, event logging and sequential event recording for post-fault analysis. Multiple configurable digital inputs and output relays enable circuit breaker control, interlock logic and remote alarm signal transmission. Supported communication protocols cover IEC 61850 including GOOSE, IEC 60870-5-103, Modbus TCP and DNP3, realizing seamless data interaction with SCADA and substation control systems. Equipped with local graphical HMI display and web-based remote access, technicians can complete parameter setting, status monitoring and fault diagnosis conveniently. The withdrawable plug-in unit design allows rapid replacement without dismounting the whole housing, shortening equipment maintenance downtime. It supports IEEE 1588 precision time synchronization and optional PRP/HSR redundant Ethernet to improve communication reliability for digital substation applications.
