1. Safety Precautions
Mandatory Requirements:
- De-energize all connected systems (LOTO per OSHA 1910.147)
- Verify ambient conditions:
- Temperature: -25°C to +60°C (derate >40°C)

4. Configuration Steps
DIP Switch Settings (Front Panel):
SW1: OFF-OFF = Default addressing
SW2: ON = Fail-safe mode
SW3: OFF = Normal operation
Initial Power-Up Sequence:
- Apply power
- Verify STATUS LED: Solid green = Operational
- Flashing amber: Requires parameterization
