1. Bus Interfaces

VMEbus Interface:
- 32-bit address and data support.
- Supports VMEbus with optional parity (MVME337A version only).
Multimaster VME Subsystem Bus (VSBbus) Interface: 32-bit secondary bus.

2. Shared Local DRAM

MVME337A Version: 4Mb of shared local DRAM, 32-bit wide, with one wait cycle; accessible from the VMEbus.
MVME337 Version: 1Mb of shared local DRAM, 32-bit wide, with no wait cycles; accessible from the VMEbus with optional parity.

3. Processor and Clock

Processor: MC68020 virtual (note: original text “address ana” may be incomplete, retained as is).
Clock Frequency: 16.67 MHz or 20.00 MHz.

5. Backplane Connector Note (P2)

The MVME337-1 must not be operated without a P2 backplane.
The P2 backplane is necessary for two key functions:
1. Enables 32-bit operation of the module.
2. Provides +5 Vdc power connection to the MVME337 module for current distribution.

6. FCC Compliance

The MVME337 module is tested in an FCC-compliant chassis and meets the requirements for Class A equipment.
FCC compliance is achieved only under the following conditions:
1. Use shielded cables for all external I/O ports.
2. Connect cable shields to earth ground via metal shell connectors bonded to a conductive module front panel.
3. Connect conductive chassis rails to earth ground (this provides the path for connecting shields to earth ground).
4. Ensure front panel screws are properly tightened.
