This processor is equipped with MPC604 PowerPC CPU running at 300 MHz, featuring integrated L1 instruction and data cache, without onboard L2 cacheManualsLib. Multiple hardware timers plus independent watchdog timer offer system fault monitoring and automatic reset capability for unattended embedded operation. Power is supplied entirely from VME backplane, drawing +5 V, ±12 V power from the chassis card slot, typical power consumption around 22 W depending on installed PMC daughter-cardsMotorola. Its operating temperature spans 0 °C to +55 °C for commercial industrial grade; extended temperature versions support -40 °C to +85 °C for rugged deployment. It can withstand random vibration up to 2 Grms within 20-2000 Hz, relative humidity ranges from 10 %-80 % non-condensing. Designed for chassis internal installation only, the board itself provides no front-panel environmental sealing. The front panel is IEEE 1101 standard with injector-ejector handles for convenient insertion and removal inside VME rack cabinets. It complies with CE and relevant EMC standards for industrial embedded computing hardware.
