Description

1.Transport

Transport must be performed by qualified personnel using the manufacturer’s original recyclable packaging.

Avoid exposure to shocks or vibrations during transit.

Environmental conditions: Temperature range -25°C to +70°C (-13°F to 158°F) with a maximum temperature change rate of 20K/hr; relative humidity up to 95% (no condensation allowed).

If the packaging is damaged, inspect the unit for visible defects immediately. In such cases, notify both the shipper and the manufacturer promptly.

The servo amplifier contains electrostatically sensitive components. To prevent damage:

Discharge static electricity from your body before touching the unit.

Avoid contact with highly insulating materials (e.g., synthetic fabrics, plastic films).

Place the servo amplifier on a conductive surface during handling.

2 Packaging

⚠️ CAUTION: Heavy load! Unassisted lifting may cause back injuries. Use appropriate lifting equipment for moving the carton.

3 Storage

Storage must be conducted using the manufacturer’s original recyclable packaging.

Maximum stacking height: 3 cartons

Environmental conditions: Temperature range -25°C to +55°C with a maximum change rate of 20°C/hr; relative humidity 5% to 95% (no condensation allowed).

Storage duration:

Unrestricted for periods less than 1 year.

For storage exceeding 1 year: Capacitors must be reformed before commissioning the servo amplifier. To do this:

Disconnect all electrical connections.

Apply single-phase 230V AC to terminals L1/L2 for approximately 30 minutes.

4 Decommissioning

Decommissioning of any drive system components may only be performed by professional personnel qualified in electrical engineering.⚠️ DANGER: Lethal voltages present! Risk of severe personal injury or death due to electric shock or arcing.Follow these steps:

Switch off the main circuit breaker of the control cabinet.

Prevent unintended restart of the system.

Lock out the main switch to secure it against accidental activation.

Wait at least 5 minutes after disconnecting power before proceeding.

5 Maintenance and Cleaning

The unit is maintenance-free. Opening the unit will invalidate the warranty. Internal cleaning may only be performed by the manufacturer.

Do not immerse the unit or spray it with liquids. Prevent any liquid from entering the device.

External cleaning procedure:

Decommission the unit in accordance with Chapter 3.4.

Casing: Clean using isopropyl alcohol or a comparable cleaning agent.

CAUTION: Highly flammable! Risk of explosion and fire.

Adhere to the safety instructions provided on the cleaning agent’s packaging.

Allow at least 30 minutes of drying time after cleaning before putting the unit back into operation.

Fan protective grille: Clean with a dry brush.
