Description
- Visual Inspection
- Conduct a daily visual check of the INIET800 unit to identify physical abnormalities. Inspect the exterior for signs of damage, such as cracks, dents, or loose panels.
- Check cable connections (power, communication, and sensor cables) to ensure they are securely plugged in and free from fraying, corrosion, or bent pins. Verify that cable ties and strain reliefs are intact to prevent excessive stress on connections.
- Monitor indicator lights on the front panel. Ensure status LEDs (e.g., power, communication, and system health) display normal patterns (e.g., steady green for normal operation; avoid flashing red or amber, which may indicate faults).
- Environmental Checks
- Confirm that the installation environment meets specified conditions: temperature within 0–50°C, relative humidity below 90% (non-condensing), and no exposure to direct sunlight, dust, water droplets, or corrosive gases.
- Clear any debris, dust, or obstructions around the unit to maintain proper airflow and heat dissipation. Ensure ventilation slots are unblocked to prevent overheating.
- Functional Verification
- Perform a daily check of basic functions via the connected HMI or monitoring software. Verify that real-time data (e.g., measured values, system status) is displayed correctly and updated at regular intervals.
- Test alarm response by simulating a minor fault (if applicable) to ensure local and remote alarms trigger as configured. Clear the test alarm afterward and confirm the system returns to normal status.
- Cleaning Procedures
- Weekly, use a dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the exterior of the unit and remove surface dust. For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with distilled water (avoid harsh chemicals or solvents that may damage the casing).
- Every month, inspect and clean communication ports and connectors using compressed air (with low pressure) to remove dust or debris that could interfere with signal transmission.
- Software and Log Checks
- Weekly, review system logs via the maintenance interface to check for error codes, communication interruptions, or unusual operational patterns. Document and address recurring issues promptly.
- Ensure the device’s firmware is up to date with the latest version provided by the manufacturer. Schedule firmware updates during planned downtime, following the official guidelines to avoid data loss or system instability.
- Preventive Maintenance (Monthly)
- Tighten any loose screws on the mounting brackets or terminal blocks to maintain structural stability.
- Check the power supply voltage using a multimeter to ensure it remains within the specified range (refer to the user manual for details).
- Calibrate sensors connected to the INIET800 if required by the application (e.g., after environmental changes or physical disturbances). Follow the manufacturer’s calibration procedure using certified equipment.
