Description
D136-001-008a Wiring Methods
1. Pre-Wiring Preparation
1.1 Tools and Materials Preparation
Prepare necessary tools and materials before wiring, including insulated screwdrivers (appropriate specifications for terminal screws), wire strippers, crimping tools, insulated wires (conductor cross-sectional area: 0.5-1.5 mm² recommended), wire labels, and cable ties. Ensure all tools are in good condition and wires meet the rated voltage and current requirements of D136-001-008a.
1.2 Safety Precautions
1. Confirm that the power supply connected to the device is completely turned off and the power cord is disconnected to avoid electric shock hazards. 2. Wear insulating gloves during the wiring process to prevent accidental contact with live parts. 3. Avoid wiring in environments with high humidity, strong electromagnetic interference, or flammable and explosive substances.
1.3 Device Inspection
Check the D136-001-008a device for any damage to the shell, terminal blocks, or internal components. Verify that the terminal labels are clear and complete, and ensure there is no looseness or oxidation on the terminal screws. If any abnormalities are found, do not proceed with wiring and contact professional maintenance personnel in a timely manner.
2. Power Wiring
2.1 Power Input Terminal Definition
The power input terminals of D136-001-008a are labeled as follows: L (AC live wire input), N (AC neutral wire input), and PE (protective earthing terminal). The rated power supply voltage is AC 220V ±10%, 50/60 Hz. Do not connect the power supply beyond the rated voltage range to avoid damaging the device.
2.2 Wiring Steps
1. Use a wire stripper to strip the insulation layer of the power cord, exposing the conductor length of 5-8 mm (ensure no conductor strands are broken). 2. Insert the stripped AC live wire into the L terminal, the neutral wire into the N terminal, and tighten the terminal screws with a screwdriver (torque: 1.2-1.5 N·m) to ensure the wire is firmly fixed and there is no loose contact. 3. Connect the protective earthing wire to the PE terminal; the earthing wire should be a green-yellow insulated wire, and the connection must be reliable to ensure the device’s grounding resistance is less than 4 Ω. 4. After wiring, gently pull the power cord to check if it is firmly connected. If the wire can be pulled out easily, re-tighten the terminal screws.
3. Signal Wiring
3.1 Analog Input/Output Signal Wiring
1. Analog Input Terminals (Labeled AI1, AI2): Used to connect analog sensors (such as pressure sensors, temperature sensors). The input signal type is 4-20 mA current signal or 0-10 V voltage signal. When connecting 4-20 mA current sensors, connect the positive terminal of the sensor to the AI+ terminal of the device, and the negative terminal to the AI- terminal. For 0-10 V voltage sensors, connect the signal output terminal of the sensor to the AI+ terminal, and the ground terminal of the sensor to the AI- terminal. 2. Analog Output Terminals (Labeled AO1, AO2): Used to output analog signals to control executive components (such as electric valves, frequency converters). The output signal type is 4-20 mA current signal or 0-10 V voltage signal. Connect the AO+ terminal to the signal input positive terminal of the executive component, and the AO- terminal to the signal input negative terminal. 3. Note: When wiring analog signals, use shielded twisted-pair cables to reduce electromagnetic interference. The shielding layer should be grounded at one end (preferably at the device end) to avoid signal distortion.
3.2 Digital Input/Output Signal Wiring
1. Digital Input Terminals (Labeled DI1-DI8): Used to connect digital sensors (such as proximity switches, limit switches) or manual buttons. The input type is NPN or PNP (configure via internal jumpers according to actual needs). For NPN input: Connect the signal output terminal of the sensor to the DI terminal, and the common terminal (COM) of the digital input to the positive terminal of the external 24V power supply. For PNP input: Connect the signal output terminal of the sensor to the DI terminal, and the COM terminal to the negative terminal of the external 24V power supply. 2. Digital Output Terminals (Labeled DO1-DO4): Used to control relays, indicator lights, and other components. The output type is relay contact output. Connect one terminal of the controlled component to the DO terminal, and the other terminal to the power supply. Connect the common terminal (COM) of the digital output to the opposite pole of the power supply. 3. Note: When the digital output controls inductive loads (such as relays), a freewheeling diode should be connected in parallel at both ends of the load to protect the device.
