Critical Safety Precautions

 ‌HAZARDOUS VOLTAGE ALERT

  • De-energize rack (PN: 3500/15) before module insertion/removal
  • Ground probe cables prior to connection (ESD rating: HBM Class 3B)
  • Maximum transient voltage: 250V peak (IEC 61000-4-5)

Grounding Protocol:

  1. Connect chassis to station ground (≤2mΩ resistance)
  2. Single-point shield termination at TB5
  3. Maintain 50mm separation from AC power lines


Commissioning Sequence

Step 1: Gap Voltage Verification

2. Measure at TB4:
• Cold Gap: -10V ±0.5V (Typical)
• Running Gap: -12V to -16V

3. Deviation > ±5% requires probe recalibration

Step 2: Dynamic Calibration

• Apply 80µm p-p @ 1kHz via TK-3E simulator
> set_gain 4.0 mV/µm (API 670 Table 4)
> cal_verify tolerance=1.5%

Step 3: Alarm Thresholds
