The analog output of the CPC-II is in the form of a (4 to 20) mA output and can drive load resistances from 0 up to 500 . This output can be configured to perform one of many different tasks, such as reporting, pressure feedback,pressure setpoint, and internal valve position. Refer to the service tool chapter for configuration information. This output is designed for monitoring and diagnostic purposes only, and is not meant for any type of closed loop feedback.For redundant configurations, it is highly recommended that the analog output be used. Should the discrete output wiring fail, or in the remote case of failure of the
discrete output, the unit in control can still be determined by inspection of the analog output signal.
