Main Functions
The system provides two configurable trip output schemes: 2-out-of-3 voted relay outputs or three independent non-voted trip relays with separate alarm relays, meeting different safety integrity requirements. It accepts speed signals from multiple MPU sensors and supports real-time speed measurement, overspeed threshold monitoring and acceleration supervision. Standard 4–20 mA analog speed output enables remote speed indication. Built-in Modbus communication interface realizes uploading of operating data, fault alarms and event records to upper control systems. The automatic overspeed test function simulates overspeed signals to verify module performance without actual turbine acceleration. Triple-module hot-swap capability allows single unit replacement during system operation to minimize equipment downtime. Comprehensive self-diagnosis continuously monitors internal hardware status and generates fault alerts for predictive maintenance. This safety controller is widely adopted for new turbine projects and retrofitting of legacy power generation equipment.
