The 3350-MBP Modbus-to-BACnet protocol converter was deployed to bridge communication between legacy field devices and modern SCADA infrastructure at 23 pump stations. Key challenges addressed:

Legacy Integration: Connected 1980s-era Modbus RTU flowmeters (Daniel 2500 series) to new BACnet/IP BMS (Johnson Controls Metasys)
Protocol Translation: Achieved 98.7% data fidelity in converting:
Modbus Registers → BACnet Analog Objects (AI/AO) Modbus Coils → BACnet Binary Objects (BI/BO)
Topology: Daisy-chained configuration supported 1.2km RS-485 segments with termination resistors (120Ω ±5%)
